Abstract

Today, knowledge is seen as the main asset for major organizations and a resource to achieve sustainable competitive advantage and in the developing business world, the importance of knowledge management in organizations is increasing every day. The fact that many organizations neglect knowledge management is because of their vague understanding of the concept that exists in organizations. To overcome such a long-established challenge, it is necessary to set forth the basic definition of knowledge management, and an appropriate model should be presented which includes the circumstances and characteristics of organizations. Since there are many models which implement knowledge management in organizations. In this paper, we try to provide an appropriate and domestic model to exemplify the optimal pattern of knowledge management in public sector organizations, especially those which are related to Tavanir organization. To test this, our proposed model is measured through the distribution of a questionnaire with 89% Cronbach alpha among senior managers and experts from Tavanir related organizations in Mozandaran province.
