Abstract

For a long time, the low price of mold industry is the major marketing competitive advantage on Taiwan. At the same time, the lower productive cost in Asian country will replace Taiwan's low-price advantage. This research indicates that the parameters’ influence is to discuss the competitive ability for mold industry, including day of test mold for middle mold, day of test mold for small mold, product require day for middle mold, product require day for small mold, man for production, man for research and development, precision for measurement machine, and order ratio for Europe and America. This research uses the grey theory and extension engineering to discuss the influences of different processing parameters on mold companies. This research took Taipei County and Tao-Yuan County's middle mold industry as an example (employee's number about 30 people) to find the most influenced factor of seven companies and the most important factors of the transfer technology model of the mold industry. The most influenced factor of the seven companies is to test the day of small mold and delivery day of small mold. The most important factors of the transfer technology model of the mold industry are man for research and development, and order ratio for Europe and America.
