Heavy metal accumulation in Oreochromis niloticus and Clarias gariepinus from an integrated chicken-fish system
Accumulation of cadmium (Cd), chromium (Cr), copper (Cu), lead (Pb), manganese (Mn) and zinc (Zn) in fish from integrated laying chicken-fish ponds was investigated in order to determine the possible health risks to humans from heavy metal contamination. The 20 m2 fish ponds were stocked with Oreochromis niloticus and Clarias gariepinus in a 3:1 ratio and a stocking density of 8 fingerlings/m2....

Corrosion inhibition and adsorption behaviour for mild steel by Ficus glumosa gum in H2SO4 solution
The inhibitive effect of Ficus glumosa gum (FG) for the corrosion of mild steel in H2SO4medium was evaluated using the weight loss, gasometric, thermometric and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) techniques. The results obtained revealed that FG gum gum is a good adsorption inhibitor. It inhibited the corrosion of mild steel through themechanism of chemical adsorption (the reasons are inhibition...

Theoretical study of methyl chloride conversion over H-ZSM5 zeolite
We note in the reaction that the main molecules included in the process and explained that the transformations (Boukratem, 1997, 2003) are CH3Cl, C2H4 and HCl. Other studies were led (Jaumain and Su, 2002; Wei et al., 2006) on the same subject. With these three elements, we constitute a mathematical development relating the thermodynamic study. The final equation what was found through the fundamentals is...
