In this paper we examine the fragile relation between Pakistan and US. After the independence from the British raj Pakistan patch up its associations with US, it was an additional shackle of slavery with Pakistan. The kindred between Pakistan and US stay put zigzag during the unusual periods of time. The period between fifties& sixties shows the sophisticated relationship due to the cold war between US and USSR. In Seventies that was the period of judicious rapport because General Ayub desired to ascertain the relation on bilateralism. The period from 1970-79 remained at very squat echelon relations. Then started the duration of turmoil in 1979-89” the war stuck between USSR and Afghan Taliban in Afghanistan, Then US felt need of Pakistan and the relations between both countries became overpriced. After the extraction of USSR from Afghanistan in 1989 the associations turned another crook of stiffness and US left Pakistan” after it the sanctions of Pressler amendment applied on Pakistan by the US and all the assistance stopped with Pakistan. This period of negligence lasted till 2001. (Akhtar, 2012) After the incident of 9/11, USA & its cronies launched a war on terror against the militants of Afghanistan (Taliban) especially against the Al-Qaeda. Once again US came closer to Pakistan for the culmination of terrorism. Pakistan places a most important share and scarified a lot. A foremost amount of general public, militia, and politicians of Pakistan have killed in this war on terror. But the US administration could not gratify with his progress & persistently demanding “Do More” which is not a vindicated demand for Pakistan. The relationship between Pakistan and US are not two-pronged, but it is the on the wish of US, when US felt need of Pakistan, it came closer to it and after gaining its interests left Pakistan alone.
