The relation between learning discipline and parents’ caring to learning achievement of students in Sma Negeri 4 Kupang

This research is an ex-post facto research which reveals data without providing treatment or manipulation of data on the variables. This study aims to find out the relationship between independent variables which are parents' attention (X1) and discipline (X2) to learning achievement (Y). This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 4 Kupang on November 2019 to December 2019. Based on research results, can be concluded that : 1) There is a positive and significant impact on the parent’s caring to learning achievement of students in SMA Negeri 4 Kupang which indicated by the coefficient of rx1y that got 0.666 and the coefficient of r2 that got 0.444. It means that the parent's caring variable contributes in influencing the learning achievement , 2) There is a positive and significant influence on learning discipline learning to learning achievement of students in SMA Negeri 4 Kupang, which is indicated by the coefficient of rxly that got 0.717 and the coefficient of r2 is 0.515 which means that the discipline of learning variables contributes in influencing learning achievement , 3) There is a positive and significant influence of parents' caring and learning discipline on learning achievement of students in SMA Negeri 4 Kupang , which is indicated by an R coefficient of 0.753 and coefficient R2 of 0.567 means that the variables of parent's caring and the discipline of learning are together contributes in influencing the learning achievement of 56.7%.
