This study focused on “paradigm shift in libraries from traditional to digital mode: its management issues and impact on user satisfaction. With the passage of time concept in terms of services and usage of libraries also changed. Now each library is in a process of paradigm shift from traditional to digital mode. As a matter of fact, management in traditional libraries is now a very difficult job due to less resources and time which is a key factor. Digital libraries which are considered as need of the time but on the other hand problems exist in the field of uncertainty and instability in case of large scale disaster to the resources due to sudden natural calamity which non avoidable factor. Quantitative method of research has been used in this study by collecting the data from library professional of Pakistani libraries through established questionnaire. Descriptive analysis test by using cross-tabulation method with the help of SPSS-21 has been done. Study shows that population involved in the course of data collection and analysis expressed their views in the favour of hybrid mode of libraries with the reason that complete conversion towards digital mode is not beneficial as this will completely destroy the usefulness and importance of physical existence of libraries. Users are more satisfied in the libraries which are in possession of both facilities i.e. traditional and digital. Whereas management in hybrid mode libraries is simple and easy.
