First record of Stylochelius striatus (Mollusca: Gastropoda: Anaspidea: Aplysiidae) from the Andaman Sea, India

The paper reports the first time record of Stylochelius striatus (Mollusca: Aplysiidae), identified at Carbyn’s Cove tide pool (South Andaman), Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India. The habitat for this species is Padina algae covered tide pools.   Key words: Mollusca, Nudibranch, Stylochelius striatus, new record, Andaman Sea, India

Insights on the environmental risk of metallic accumulation in sediments of Santos Harbor, Santos Estuarine System, Southeastern Brazil

The present study aims to evaluate the Santos harbor environmental health, the most important port of the South American, where anthropic activities are associated to metallic contamination (Al, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb).
