AIJ - Publication Fees & Waivers

Submission Fee
Al-Mahram International Journal does not charge a submission fee.

Manuscript Handling Fee
Authors are required to pay the manuscript handling fee only after their manuscripts have been reviewed and accepted for publication by an editor.

The manuscript handling fee for AIJ is $550 (USD).

Waiver Policy
We understand that some institutions may have limited funding for their research activities. Thus, we have instituted a generous waiver system that may ease the payment of the manuscript handling fee when their researchers choose to publish their manuscripts in the journal. Our primary goal as stated in our mission is to accelerate the dissemination of knowledge through the publication of high-quality research articles. We are continually pursuing this goal, without putting undue financial burden on researchers or their institutions. Hence, we have instituted the following waiver policy.

Authors from Low Income Countries may be granted up to 75% waiver.
Authors from Lower Middle-Income Countries may be granted up to 40% waiver.

To request a waiver, kindly send an application to [email protected]. Waiver application should contain the manuscript number and state the reason for requesting a waiver.

Print on Demand
The journal provides Print-on-Demand service for authors who require printed copies of their article(s) in a book format. Articles are printed along with other articles in same issue to form a book. Each printed book contains a minimum of ten articles. If there are less than 10 articles in the issue, other articles from previous issues will be added. However, all articles are printed if there are more than ten articles in the issue.

The cost per book is $35 USD (excluding cost of delivery).
