The degree of clients’ satisfaction and services of the university library

This descriptive study was purposely conducted to find out the degree of clients satisfaction and services of the University Library of the Aklan State University Main Campus for the academic year 2016-2017. The data revealed that the majority of the respondents visited and used the library weekly and more than three-fourths of the client-respondents visited the Aklan State University main library to look for library materials on the shelves. However, the operation performance of the University Library was rated by the clients as outstanding in opening and closing hours. With regards to the ease of finding of collection location and service rendered by the university staff, they were rated better by the clients. As to availability of course books, the respondents rated better. On the other hand, as to access to electronic resources, the respondents rated better. It was found out that, the quality of assistance rendered by the library staff, ease of finding of collection and availability of books was rated by the clients as better.
