Fluctuation of eco – system’s populations is increasingly becoming more popular due to the activities of predation and harvesting. The need to design a model to cope with its challenges has become very necessary for the species survival. We investigate a predator – prey model with prey harvesting in tropical zone. Fatokun et al (2020) analyzed and discussed the local stability of a predator – prey dynamics with prey harvesting in tropical zone. The aim of the study is to focus our discussion on the global stability analysis of the predator – prey model with prey harvesting in tropical zone. This was achieved by constructing a Lyapunov functions for the systems, we proceeded to derive sufficient conditions under which the positive coexistence equilibrium of this model is unique and globally asymptotically stable if it exists. Numerical simulations were carried out, discussion was made on the results presented in graphical forms and compared with analytical analysis of the model.
