In the Combustion chamber of IC engine the thing which repay is called piston. The material of piston should have following characteristics, such as light weight, cheap & able to bear high temperature and pressure both situations that arise in IC engine. In our paper, traditional piston design was investigated by structural analysis both physically & structurally, for this three-piston model are study side by side that are made of aluminum alloy, such as AL-A2618, AL-GHY1250 & AL-GHS1300 respectively, in order to find out which is best material in this regard. Many literature studies have been reviewed before deciding the process of analysis and input conditions of models. Initially solid modeling software such as Solid work/Creo was used for manufacturing of piston models and ANSYS was used for geometric study of model. From results we observe that main case of stresses in diagnostic part of piston is due to high pressure combustion gases that act as mechanical load. Structural analysis for many loading conditions is also study in detail such as maximum gas pressure load etc.
