The experiment was conducted two seasons to study “Pre harvest spray of certain biostimulants and growth regulators on shelf life of leafy coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) var. CO (CR) 4” was conducted at the Department of Spices and Plantation Crops, Horticultural College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, during the year of 2015-2016. The objective of this study is to find out the influence of bio-stimulants and growth regulators (Panchagavya @ 3 per cent, Vermiwash @ 3 per cent, Moringa leaf extract @ 3 per cent, PPFM @ 1 per cent, Cytozyme @ 1000 ppm, Tricontanol @ 5 ppm, Humic acid @ 1000 ppm and Brassinosteroid @ 0.5 ppm) on greenness, aroma and keeping quality of leafy coriander var. CO (CR) 4. The harvested greens were kept in plastic container and stored in refrigerated condition. Greenness and aroma of the leaves were taken for observation on 5th, 10th, 15th and 20th days after harvesting. Keeping quality was observed visually by counting the days taken to maintain freshness in plastic container under refrigerated condition. Among the different treatments foliar application of 1000 ppm of humic acid (T7) recorded the maximum greenness (3.822 and 3.283) aroma (2.251 and 2.131) and keeping quality (18.24 and 16.49 days) in both season respectively.
