Abstract
The colonial morphology, the cells and the spores of a bacterium had been observed that could produce an anti-Mycobacterium tuberculosis antibiotic. By physiological and biochemical characteristics and by 16S rDNA analysis, this bacterium was identified asBacillus subtilis.
