This paper aims to review Medhanes’s book “Turning Conflicts to Cooperation in the Horn of Africa”. The title and the discussion points forwarded by the author of this book are very impressive and valuable to understand the nature of conflict in the Horn of Africa and to turn the existence disorder into cooperation. Medhane identified three important objectives of the paper. Make out the root causes of the conflicts in the Horn, discover the mechanisms towards an expanded framework for conflict resolution, and make out prospects for economic cooperation as a means of preventing future conflicts are the three important discussion points of his study. So, I try to evaluate all this objectives as follow based on the flow of the chapters.
