Salinity stress is one of the major factors limiting agricultural production. About 20% land worldwide is subjected to salinity stress. Bean (Cv Masr-1) is an important crop occupying a large area in the world. Salt stress affects most aspects of the plant physiology and biochemistry and significantly reduces yield and limit agricultural production worldwide. In the present investigation, an attempt was made to study the effect of seaweed liquid extract (SWE) from Sargassum dentifolium at different concentrations on seed germination and seedling growth of bean cultivars (Masr-1) under salt stress.
