Insecurity is one of the greatest obstacles negating quest for social order in all developing and developed countries. Prevalence of insecurity in Nigeria has gotten to a state where Nigerian cannot confidently sleeps with the two eyes close because of the rewarding ends of insecurity such as trauma, economic downturn, vandalization of properties, civil unrest, untimely death and loss of hope in governmental activities. The unequal economic interest between the Fulani cattle breeders and the Yoruba farmers in Arege and Olugbo communities has gathered its momentum for conflictual interest. Several publications were reviewed to support the development of the inquiry while Strain, conflict and structural functionalist theories were adopted for the theoretical orientation. Qualitative method and Non-probability sampling technique (purposive) was adopted while face to face method of data collection was adopted to collect qualitative data from twenty-two (22) respondents (males/female. Old /young people, educated/uneducated members, Baale’s and State security apparatus). It is concluded that the level of insecurity is higher compared to what is expected due to several factors such as uncontrollable migration, selfish interest on the part of the community leaders, bad leadership style and governance in the country and lack of respect for humanity. On these grounds, the following recommendations were set out;-The governmental agents should promote orderliness in the area, cattle rouge should be constructed for the Fulani
