Stages in human development such as childhood, adolescence, and adulthood as well as state of health, work, or activities, and sickness require specific daily food nutrients. This study assessed farm household’s level of awareness and practice of healthy daily nutrition in Afikpo North Local Government Area (LGA) of Ebonyi State, Nigeria. A multistage sampling technique was used to collect primary data. Analytical tools such as descriptive statistics and binary logistic regression were used to analyze the data from 100 respondents. The results showed that majority of the farm households were aware of the required daily carbohydrates for adult, they source their food mainly from their own production and eat twice a day. The food consumed involves a variety of vegetable, fruits, and protein. The farming household head’s age, gender, marital status, educational level, income, farming experience, and household size were significant factors in determining the practice of healthy daily nutrition in the study area. Therefore, healthy daily nutrition awareness and practice in the study area can be improved through intensifying efforts to increase rural household income, and educational level as well as sensitization of households on family planning and benefits of healthy daily nutrition.
