The purpose of this study was to identify the perspectives of police officers regarding antisemitic bias crimes as compared to the perspective of pre-existing research. The research method used was content analysis. Five officers from Morris County, New Jersey were interviewed and their answers were compared to the New Jersey 2017-2018 Bias Incident Report. The findings were that both officer and researcher perspectives generally aligned and that Morris County may stand as an example for other counties. Research also showed that a rise in the level of reports received by police stations may be a significant contributor to the perceived rise in the number of bias crimes.
