Oguta Lake is a source of water supply and used for fishing activities in southeastern Nigeria. A study of the physicochemical parameters of Oguta Lake was made from April 2017 to March 2018. Water samples were collected monthly and analyzed for sixteen different physicochemical parameters. They include: current, temperature, transparency, water depth, pH, electrical conductivity and dissolved oxygen which were measured in-situ. Other parameters were done ex-situ using standard methods. The analyzed samples shows that most of the parameters have higher mean values during the wet season except for pH, transparency, conductivity, calcium and temperature which have higher mean values during the dry season. Significant difference was observed at p < 0.05 on the seasonal variation of Depth, Magnesium and Sodium. The rest parameters showed no significant difference at p > 0.05.
