Effect of suppliers’ involvement in product innovation activities on business performance

Abstract

 

In recent years, businesses have increasingly been turning to suppliers, researchers and other partners to perform product or technologic innovations. In literature, suppliers’ role is also examined especially in development of new products and studies related to supplier involvement in development of new products show that an increase in supplier involvement is beneficial for product innovation or business performance. In this context, this study aims to research whether supplier involvement in product innovation has an effect on performance of a supplier’s business.
