This article was titled as Traditional (Classical) and Neo-classical Management theory: An Overview. The aim of a study was to scrutinize Management styles of both classical and neoclassical origin roles to the growth for the management school, review the input of classical and neoclassical founder of management. The researcher employed qualitative research design; to collect the necessary data the Google Scholar, Science Direct, JESTOR, Research Gate, and Springer Published and un-published were used as sources. Finally, the collected data were analyzed by Content analysis and narration. One of the greatest contributions of scientific management in today's real organization is increasing, improving and enhancing the productivity of the organization. Managers today use a general administrative approach. Many of our modern administration thinking plus practices traced straight to the aids of all-purpose directorial principle. Several supervisors sense that the bureaucratic hierarchical impedes the imagination of all employees and restrictions the organization's capacity to react rapidly to rapidly changed context. Neoclassical theory has contributed significantly to the understanding of human behavior in the workplace (i.e. within the organization) and laid the foundation for the subsequent development of management theory. From this article, I conclude that a classical and neoclassical approach have played an important function to the development for philosophy of the management and applies in today’s real-world organizations. Conventional approaches have been criticized because they assume that people are primarily motivated by financial reward. Neoclassicisms were the backbone of many management theorists today. Therefore, it is obvious that the arena of management has remarkable and pertinent philosophies maintained through actual study. This progress offers the moderately promising future to the management learning, investigation and exercise.
