The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on banks performance in Nigeria. Secondary data was used for this research. A total of eleven (11) Nigeria banks were studied for an 8 year period (2009-2016). Data was extracted from audited the financial reports of respective banks. This study employs OLS (panel data) to analyze the data gathered. The findings show that there is a positive relationship between CSR measured by education and environmental development on the performance of banks in Nigeria. It is recommended that management should engage more CSR development in host communities to enhance and increase organizational performance.
