Abstract
There is general consensus in the literature that computer use is often associated with an increased prevalence of hand and wrist disorders. Symptoms may be associated with specific clinical entities such as peripheral nerve entrapment. Motor and sensory nerve conduction velocity and vibration treshold in the hand of computer users have been evaluated in several studies. In this review the relationship between computer work and entrapment neuropathies of median, ulnar and radial nerves in the wrist region will be examined.
