Ethnocontructivism in the social affairs for basic school teachers in Indonesia

The essence of local cultural values must now be introduced to students. The introduction of the values contained can be realized through integration in the curriculum. Teachers as the spearhead of the implementation of learning must know and be able to introduce local cultural values to students. One of the cultural values that can be introduced is ethnosocial knowledge. This study aims to determine the extent of teacher knowledge about ethnosocial. Next, the researchers wanted to find out how the implementation of ethnosocial knowledge and the obstacles faced by teachers. This study uses a combination research method. The results of the research obtained are the level of ethnosocial teacher knowledge in the good category. However, not all teachers apply ethnosocial knowledge. The obstacles faced by teachers include teachers who do not understand ethnosocial around students, lack of books and learning resources, and the absence of a standard curriculum from the local government.
