The Pyramid configuration is used in the static analysis of the Luban Workshop essentials. The essentials are discovered to have the characteristic functions of centralization, stabilization, and orientation. This is the realistic logic for using the essentials to build a discourse system and guide the Luban Workshop project development. In the Luban Workshop development course, the Double Helix configuration is introduced into the dynamic analysis. The practical chain and the cognitive chain are discovered to form the Double Helix configuration of the unity of knowing and doing. This configuration expresses the centralization, development, and interactivity functions. This is the developmental logic for the essentials' capacity building and strategy implementation. Based on the dialectical relationship between static and dynamic configuration, it is concluded that there are three directions for essential capacity expansion: standards development, mechanism improvement, and strategy construction.
